Hi Guys,
Someone, (a very smart and inspired Grobie) asked me to post a brief info. about the GROBANITES DAY , here at the begining of this thread, so that anyone who opens it, can read about it.
After months of discutions we, the Grobies, who keept on adding to this post, decided that is a very good and fun idea to celebrate THE GROBANITES DAY every year on AUGUST 27TH.
The reasons that make August 27th a great day for celebrating, are :
1) August 27th is exact 6 months after and 6 months before Josh's b-day.
2) Is the day when his first official site was launched, many years ago.
3) Is another opportunity to do charitable work
4) Is a great and fun way to " spread the Josh" , for those of us who like Josh and his music.
5) August is not such a busy month when is about celebrations ( like December for example).
6) Is the end of summer, so we can celebrate outside, and enjoy a nice wether ( for the ones who live in this emisphere (N).
7) More and more grobies agree with this month.
I am sure that we can come up with many more reasons for celebrating, for those of you who need a reason
So basically, on this day any of us can choose to celebrate in his own unique way. We can come and post on the thread , and wish eachother and Josh, HAPPY GROBANITES DAY !!!! We can meet with friends, and other Grobies, talk, take pictures and after come on the thread and post something about this. We can listen to Josh music all day, and talk about him to anyone and everyone, if they want to listen.
What is important to do on this day or for this day, is to do a charitable contribution, for our animal friends, big or small, with fur or without. We thought about The Humane Society, ar Animal Shelters, or anyonther places were animals are helped. The charitable contribution can be aything that you think that you can help with: food, money, office supplies, work, and so on. The place were you can do this charity is at your own choice.
For this year, we decided that any of us who will do something charitable for the animals can come and post that on the thread, and then we will make an evaluation of what was done, for all of us to know, based on what you wrote.
I hope that in the years to come we will organize much better this day.
Pls. join us, even if you made a charitable contribution , even if you didn't. We all love Josh's music, so lets celebrate his wonderful talent toegheder.

I know that I don't post that much. That is because I am a little shy
, but I trully enjoy checking the board from time to time.
So, becuse you are all great, funny, and always give me a good mood, I decided that you all deserve a day just for you -----------THE GROBANITES DAY--------. You know how in the calendar exist Martin Luther King day, Easter days, Christmas days, and so on. Well it is time for a GROBANITES DAY. What about choosing that day to be every year on the 3dh Saturday of the month of April. This year it happens that that day is 19th of April , just on my birthday
What about that coincidence!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well , if you don't like the 3dh Saturday of April then you can choose another day. Even though this coincidence would make my b-day sooooooooooooooooo speciallllllllllllllllllllll
How THE GROBANITES DAY should be celebrated? well, I have few ideas
With a lot of Josh music, with Grobanites meetings all over America, with discutions about Josh with anybody would listen, and in generaly with a lot of relaxation and happines. That is because being a Grobanite is the best, of the best, of the best.............
I will check on you tomorow to see how you all feel about this.
